Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band Territorial Stewardship Office (TSO) is leading this project. The TSO was established in the ancestral homelands of Clinton to bring community members back to the land with a restoration and stewardship-based focus.
A lack of baseline riparian and watershed data has been identified as a data gap in TSO stewardship objectives. This project will support: the development of a monitoring program by engaging and collaborating with community, ranchers and other range users; training, wages, travel and course participation; engagement with the Province of BC and Ministry of Water, Land, and Resource Stewardship to establish baseline data and information collection; and the development of action and management plans for watershed to restore and protect watershed health.
