The Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition is leading this project. With a focus on the remote, predominantly undeveloped headwaters and upper section of the Skeena watershed, the purpose of the Collaborative Skeena Watershed Stewardship & Climate Resilience Solutions project is to support Gitxsan Huwilp territorial planning and solutions to protect and restore watershed security and health in the Skeena, to enhance watershed monitoring capacity on Wilp territories, and to address watershed impacts using innovative community solutions for watershed security in the Skeena.
